Ignatios of Smolensk
   His journey from Moscow to Constantinople (qq.v.) in 1389, and his subsequent residence on Mount Athos and in Thessalonike (qq.v.), are recorded in three works of meticulously descriptive detail. Among the important information he provides is an account of the coronation of Manuel II (q.v.) in 1392.
